Rowan Hassan, a senior veterinary student from Egypt, returned to her hometown with our European Solidarity Corps project. For 2 months, Rowan worked for stray cats and dogs in the animal shelter of Sinop Municipality, and for injured, sick and orphaned wild animals at Sarıkum Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. She assisted the diagnosis, treatment and surgeries of veterinarians in these centers. She looked after the orphans and fed the patients. She helped many animals recover more quickly. We would like to thank Rowan for her extraordinary efforts to help our animals in need.
