Rodolfo Freitas, our Portuguese volunteer who was in Sinop in October and November 2018, saw a kitten in the street and adopted her. He gave her a name “Bella”. But he couldn’t take Bella because her papers weren’t ready for the time he left. During this period Bella was looked after by the other volunteers who stayed in Sinop. Our French vet volunteer Roxane did her vaccination and other health issues. Cadde Clinic did her blood tests and sterilization. Our association was responsible for the papers needed for customs. It was totally a collective work to send Bella abroad. At the end, last week Rodolfo came to Sinop and took his cat “Bella” to his home. Bella is now in Lisbon and living as Rodolfo’s second cat. This action of Rodolfo should be an example as a human behaviour.
They always wait for you to come someday. Some of them reunite but some of them remain stray.
