Çağan Başar Koca, a final-year veterinary student, has successfully completed his in-country ESC volunteering activity with Sahipsiz Hayvanları Koruma ve Yaşatma Derneği.

Throughout his activity, Çağan supported the treatment and surgical procedures of animals and actively contributed to coordination with local veterinary clinics and animal care centres. Thanks to his knowledge of Sinop and the local system, he also guided and supported our international volunteers, helping the whole team work more smoothly and effectively.

For Çağan, this experience was not only an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on veterinary experience, but also a journey of personal growth—working in a multicultural environment, improving his language skills and learning together with young people from different backgrounds.
