Firuza Budaqova, a veterinary student from Azerbaijan participating in our European Solidarity Corps project, has completed her two-month volunteering service. During her time there, Firuza took on tasks related to the care and treatment of stray cats and dogs. She participated in sterilization and eye surgeries at the shelter, learned many treatment methods, and oversaw routine examinations, treatments, and care of cats in the patient room. She also exchanged ideas and methods with fellow volunteers. Thanks to her, the health of many stray animals has improved. We extend our sincere thanks to Firuza for her dedication and efforts during her time in this program.
