Our veterinary volunteer Salma Abdelrazek, who came from Egypt with our European Solidarity Corps project, completed her 2-month service and returned to her home. Salma, during her volunteering, worked in the shelters for cats and dogs and helped their treatment by following the protocols as a vet volunteer. She assisted the veterinarian with sterilization surgeries. She took care of the sick cats which are under the protection of the association at her home. She gave their medication and food and did the cleaning of their wounds. She accompanied the sick cats and dogs to the university in Samsun and followed the protocols that professors told. We would like to thank Salma for all her efforts for our homeless friends.
