Our veterinary volunteer Oscar Mas Brautigam, who came from Spain with our European Solidarity Corps project, completed his 2-month service and returned to his home. Oscar worked in shelters in Sinop and Gerze during his volunteer period. He assisted the veterinarian in neutering and other soft tissue operations and provided post-operative care. He diagnosed and treated common diseases in animal shelters and monitored the health status of patients and puppies. He did hand-rearing orphaned kittens. We thank Oscar very much for all his devoted work.
