Vet Manal Rakrak and Vet Wissal Zine from Morocco, who came for our European Solidarity Corps project, went back to their homes. During their 2-month long volunteering service, they worked in the Sinop and Gerze shelters. They assisted the veterinarians in our shelters in their diagnosis and treatment. They provided post-op care and ensured that animals recovered safely from surgeries, which is crucial for their long-term health and adoptability. They took care of orphaned or injured animals not only saved lives but also provided them with the nurturing they need to grow healthy and strong. Therefore, they increased their chances for successful rehabilitation and adoption. Manal and Wissal also provided parasite treatment for nearly 100 cats under the protection of our association, vaccinated young cats and performed routine checkups. They applied the treatment protocols of our veterinarians to our sick cats. We thank them very much for their devoted work.
