Vet student Breksam Ali from Egypt, who came with our European Solidarity Corps project, left for her home. During her 2-month long volunteering service, Breksam worked in our shelters in Sinop and Gerze. She assisted with the sterilization of a wide range of animals. Additionally, she took care of sick animals in the garden of her volunteer house and in the patients’ room, and took care of them. She gained hands-on experience by performing medical assessments, handling animals, and administering treatment. She was able to develop her medical skills and broaden her knowledge of veterinary medicine. Thanks to Breksam, many homeless cats and dogs have received better care. We thank her for all her devoted work.
