Nurse Celeste Marissal, who came from France with our European Solidarity Corps project, returned to her home. Celeste first completed her 2-month volunteer activity and then participated in our new project, for which we were recently accepted, on a short-term basis and served as a volunteer in Sinop for a total of 3 months. She made this decision because she loved Sinop and her friends very much. During her 3-month service, Celeste worked for our homeless friends in Sinop and Gerze shelters. She assisted veterinarians in their treatments and surgeries. She performed vaccinations and internal and external parasite treatments for approximately 50 cats under our care. She did the annual cleaning of the places where they lived with us. She implemented treatment protocols for sick cats in her home and did their cleaning care. She bottle fed orphaned kittens. She fed our homeless friends living on the streets with us. We thank Celeste very much for fulfilling all these selfless tasks.
