Alison Carla Castaneda Rueda, came from Spain, within the scope of our European Solidarity Corps project, left Sinop after completing her 2-month service. Carla, a veterinarian, has worked both at our shelter and at the Sarıkum Wildlife Conservation and Rehabilitation Centre. She assisted in the treatment and surgeries of Veterinarian Volkan Tuncay in our shelter. She took special care of the puppies, the sick, and the weak. In the rehabilitation center, together with the veterinarians in charge, she took duties in the recovery of wild animals and their release into nature. We would like to thank Carla for all her devoted work for our animals during her volunteering.
