Mostafa Aymen Kidar, our volunteer from Algeria with our European Solidarity Corps project, completed his two-month volunteering service and returned home. Throughout his time, Aymen provided care and medical care for cats and dogs at the Tülay Sevgi Erşahin Life House (Sinop Shelter), the Gerze Shelter, and those under the association’s protection. His tasks included:

– Assisting the veterinarian in diagnosis, treatments, surgeries, sterilizations, post-op care, and vaccination programs.
– Providing daily check-ups and feeding for sick, old, weak, wounded, disabled, and orphaned cats, dogs, and wild animals.
– Supporting the intensive care of orphaned kittens and puppies at home.
– Participating in awareness-raising and adoption campaigns and occasional fundraising activities.
– Supporting the feeding and basic treatment of stray animals in different areas.

Thanks to Aymen, the general condition of many stray animals improved, and they regained their former health. He had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with other veterinary colleagues from different countries, gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills in the veterinary field. We extend our sincere gratitude to Aymen for all his dedicated work.
