We gave a hand to Sundus, who feeds around 100 stray dogs with her 4-year-old daugther in Dikmen, Sinop. We started spaying the dogs in Dikmen in cooperation with Sundus and our association. Under the supervision of Vet Sezgin in Dikmen, in his clinic our French volunteer Vet Roxane Declercq, Vet Merve Asoy and our Irish Vet Nurse Katie Marie Buckley did the operations of the first 5 dogs voluntarily. \u00a0The dogs have got ear tags and micro chips, internal and external parasite treatment and rabbies vaccination. A tumor was found in one of the dogs so also the tumor was removed successfully. The dogs will spend their healing period in a closed area designed by Sundus.\u00a0 Our member, Ferdi Elmas contributed in this operation with transportation and moving and carrying the dogs. We will continue the operations of the other dogs next week.
